- Anuprekṣāअनुप्रेक्षा
- Reflection — one of the twelve contemplations.
- Sustained, repeated dwelling on impermanence, helplessness, transmigration, aloneness, separateness, impurity, influx, stoppage, shedding, the universe, rarity of enlightenment and the teaching.

- Stoppage of karmic influx.
- Achieved by gupti, samiti, dharma, anuprekṣā, parīṣaha-jaya and cāritra — and additionally by tapas.
