Aupaśamikaऔपशमिक: State arising from the subsidence of karma.; Karma is temporarily quiescent, like dust settled in water. Two kinds: samyaktva and cāritra. Always temporary and liable to relapse.; Chapter 2
Saṃvaraसंवर: Stoppage of karmic influx.; Achieved by gupti, samiti, dharma, anuprekṣā, parīṣaha-jaya and cāritra — and additionally by tapas.; Chapter 1 Chapter 9
